A peaceful sunrise over Blea Tarn, captured with aerial drone footage in the heart of the Lake District. This cinematic showreel showcases the serene beauty of this iconic tarn, with soft morning light, reflections, and the dramatic Langdale Pikes in the background. Shot as part of a wider field shoot exploring filter use for landscape photography, this piece also demonstrates my aerial filming capabilities using a DJI Mini 3 Pro.
Filmed over the course of two guiding seasons in British Columbia, this showreel captures some of the moments George experienced while working alongside black bears in their natural habitat. Many of these clips were filmed handheld on the move during guiding days, with minimal setup and limited time, a real time, on-the-ground approach to wildlife filmmaking. While not a polished documentary, this reel reflects time immersed in the rhythms of the forest and the daily movements of these iconic animals. It’s a visual journal and a glimpse into the kind of raw, observational storytelling George aims to bring to conservation focused media.
Blea Tarn from Above
British Columbia's Black Bears
Australia's Natural World
An intimate look at the wintering Bald Eagles that congregate every year along the Salmon rich rivers in Squamish, British Columbia. This short film highlights multiple behaviours and demonstrates the competition over feeding spots here during the colder months.
Filmed over several weeks, often in sub-zero temperatures and challenging terrain, George spent long hours immersed in the Squamish Valley, working with patience and persistence to capture these eagles in their natural habitat.
This project reflects George’s commitment to immersive storytelling and wildlife ethics, documenting without disruption and letting the environment speak for itself.
A visual compilation of Australia’s diverse terrestrial and marine ecosystems, filmed throughout 2022 and 2023.
Over the course of three years, George travelled extensively across the country, working various jobs along the way, including as an underwater photographer on the Ningaloo Reef. These experiences gave him rare access to some of Australia’s most remote and biodiverse environments, from the arid outback to vibrant coral reefs, capturing compelling footage of the continent’s unique wildlife.
