Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust
Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust is a charity committed to inspiring people to care for the landscape, heritage, and communities of the Yorkshire Dales. George was commissioned to document their Youth Environment Summit, a full-day event designed to engage and empower young people passionate about the natural world.
The day began out on a peat bog in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, where participants learned about peatland restoration in collaboration with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. George captured the hands-on learning, the unique landscapes, and the energy of the group as they discovered the importance of this vital habitat.
The afternoon moved to Buckden House for a series of creative workshops, including bookbinding and open-fire cooking, offering a rich mix of storytelling opportunities. Benefiting from perfect late-season weather, George produced a collection of authentic, high-quality images and short form video that reflect both the spirit of the event and the stunning surroundings.
This project highlights YDMT’s commitment to engaging the next generation in environmental stewardship, and George looks forward to future collaborations with the team.
