National Grid is delivering the Harker substation project as part of its electricity transmission network in Cumbria. As part of the project's community engagement, National Grid runs a Community Grant Programme, offering grants of up to £20,000 to local charities and community groups in areas affected by its operations.
George was commissioned, via Local Dialogue, to produce a film illustrating the impact of the Community Grant Programme on businesses and community groups around the Harker substation. Through interviews and on-the-ground footage, the film shows the tangible difference the programme has made to the people and organisations it supports.
