About George
George was born in the north east of England and spent much of his childhood outdoors either playing sport or days spent hiking in the Lake District National Park with his family and friends. It is here where George began developing an interest into our stunning natural world and began capturing these memories through his first Canon DSLR.
Following university George spent a number of years working in a corporate sales role. Although the day to day job was rewarding, he always had this underlying desire to get out and explore more of our beautiful planet outside the usual 9-5 UK lifestyle.
In January 2020 he decided to finally 'scratch that itch' and a few weeks later he had left his job and flown across the world to Australia. It is here where George completely fell in love with the wildlife and landscapes that Australia had to offer.
Over the course of the next few years his photography ventured down various avenues including landscapes, nightscapes, wildlife and underwater. In 2021 he picked up his first freelance underwater photography job working on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia during the Whale Shark and Manta Ray seasons. In '23 and '24 he worked as a Black Bear Guide & Photographer in British Columbia, Canada.
As well as building up an already impressive gallery of imagery from around the world, he has also begun developing a strong business portfolio securing a number of freelance jobs.
George is an extremely hardworking and dedicated individual. He hopes that through his imagery he can contribute to creating awareness and assisting with conservation to help improve and repair our rapidly changing natural world.
