Society of Gynecological Oncology
The Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) is a leading organisation dedicated to advancing the prevention, research, and treatment of gynaecologic cancers. George was approached by the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO), based in Chicago, IL, to provide professional photography and videography for their Winter Meeting at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.
Initially hired for a single day, George’s role was extended to a second day due to the success of his work. Over the course of the event, he conducted 11 one-on-one interviews with doctors, capturing their insights and feedback on the SGO’s important work. In addition, he photographed key moments throughout the two-day conference, delivering high-quality imagery that received outstanding feedback from the organisation.
George handled all of this with remarkable expertise, seamlessly navigating unexpected hurdles while maintaining a keen artistic eye. He didn’t just capture the big, defining moments; he also documented the smaller, more intimate interactions that truly reflect the spirit of our event. His ability to adapt to shifting conditions while ensuring every shot was both visually compelling and meaningful was nothing short of impressive.
Beyond photography, George also filmed multiple video interviews for us, demonstrating the same level of professionalism and creativity. He expertly set up each interview, working closely with the interviewees to create a comfortable atmosphere that resulted in authentic, high-quality footage.
The final collection of photos and videos exceeded our expectations, perfectly encapsulating the energy, engagement, and essence of our conference. Not only were we thrilled with the results, but we also thoroughly enjoyed having George as part of our team—his skill, positive attitude, and professionalism made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. We would absolutely love to collaborate with him again in the future!
